Designed specifically for home elevators, this innovative door wraps around the outside of your elevator car to provide a larger walkthrough opening than traditional gates. Turning a corner as it opens, the Side Slide is out of the way and protected from damage while entering and exiting the elevator.
It’s also one of the strongest and safest home elevator products available. Made with ¾” solid wood panels and guided every 4 ½” for stability, this door covers the entire opening of your elevator and sits only 5/8” from the edge of the platform when closed. Hinge tubes prevent pinching, and a built-in safety edge reverses the direction of the door.

	More elegant than a standard gate, the Side Slide will compliment the décor of your home with a choice of genuine Maple, Mahogany, Birch, Oak or Cherry panels. And installation is a cinch, with the operator shipped as a single assemblage and requiring no additional power or field wiring.
